TRG Craves...Mushrooms
Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 1:44PM There’s a fungus among us this week as TRG craves mushrooms. From morels to shitakes, menus throughout the Southeast are filled with the flavorful fungi. Head to the Reynolds Wrap for a rundown of our favorite dishes featuring the earthy kitchen staple.

Wahoo! Grill – flash fried goat cheese and chive polenta with local mushrooms, roasted red pepper coulis and black truffle oil
Abattoir - steak tartare, mushrooms, capers, yolk
Floataway Café - wild mushroom, mozzarella, parmesan
Quinones at Bacchanalia - Atlantic halibut, Vidalia onion, oyster mushroom, fingerling potato
Bacchanalia – wood-grilled prime NY strip, abalone mushroom, potato, bacon
Herons – sea scallops, baby radish, edamame, honshimeji mushrooms, baby farm tomato, dashi
Village Tavern – onion-mushroom burger topped with mozzarella, lettuce, tomato and mayo
Eleven - grilled cobia with grilled ramps and leeks, morel mushrooms, preserved lemon and white asparagus sauce
4th & Swift – wood-grilled Cervena venison with spiced lady pea hummus, wilted chard, maitake mushrooms and black pepper pomegranate jus
Osteria 832 - chicken marsala with chicken breast, pancetta and cremini mushrooms sautéed in a marsala wine sauce and served over a plate of linguine.
FLIP burger boutique - mushroom + swiss burger with a beef patty made with hanger steak, brisket and short rib and covers it with sautéed mushrooms, swiss cheese foam, caramelized onions and horseradish mayo.
